Steve Cirbus will be joining us once a month for a series of intensives to make us better at being awesome.
For those of you who don't know Steve, he has been a strength and conditioning coach to military, law enforcement, firefighters, MMA athletes, physique competitors, bodybuilders, celebrities, and motivated individuals for 20 years. Most notably, Steve has coached elite level functional fitness athletes in the sport of CrossFit and has guided them to the Reebok CrossFit Games in 2010, 2011, and 2014.
As a functional fitness athlete, in 2015, Steve finished 44th worldwide in the CrossFit games masters qualifier in the 40-44 year old age division.
This series will focus on the many things that will enhance your skills as a CrossFit athlete, but also make your time in class more rewarding and successful. Some of the classes Steve will be offering are:
- Back To Basics
- Handstand Progression
- Kettle Bell Efficiency
- Way of the Rope
- Nutrition 101
- Clean n jerk PR Day
- Snatch PR Day
This is just to name a few, as he will be offering more based on need, requests, and student involvement.
This series of intensives was designed with the intention of fast tracking your experience in the WOD. With limited time in class, instruction and practice are often eclipsed by training. This is as it should be. However, devoting specific time to instruction and skill development has a retroactive learning benefit that will last your entire fitness journey. Don't miss out!! These intensives will most likely not be repeated.
