BACK TO BASICS
What you will learn in this intensive:
Beginner, intermediate, and advanced alike all, occasionally, need eyes on with fresh perspective. The body is an adaptive, self preserving, bio-machine that tends to default to the path of least resistance. This intensive will point out and strip away some bad habits you may have developed by taking a journey back to the beginning. This intensive will cover the foundational movements that are the cornerstone of functional fitness.
Proper mechanical theory, vocabulary, and anchoring for:
- Clean High Pull
- Power Clean
- Front Squat
- Overhead Squat
- Push Press
- Push Jerk
Anatomy and physiology through movement and experience will simplify these movements for future work, and iron out any bad habits you may have begun to develop. The proper set-up and execution studied on these lifts will transfer to all other movement making you more efficient, less injured, and a happier mover.
