What is your favorite thing or things to do when you're not at CFS?

I have a 16 month old baby and I love to spend my free time with her.

What made you want to start CrossFit?

I have been active all my life. I used to play soccer, I did UFC and then I had a baby. I thought after having a baby my life was stopping and I felt a little depressed. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband and he was very supportive when I told him that I needed to go back to my active lifestyle. He was the one that found CrossFit SKunk. CrossFit right now is the place to clean my mind and I love every WOD that I have been part of. I feel very happy to be part of your gym.

What motivates you through a tough WOD?

Knowing that the harder I push, the better I get. Love to feel strong and happy about my accomplishments.

What is your favorite motivational quote?

Do what you love, love what you do. 

What is some advice you'd give to someone new to CrossFit Skunk or just started CrossFit?

Do what you can! Never say “I can’t” because I got yelled at already. I will cheer you on and i will jump in and help you finish. 

What is something you've done at CFS that you never thought you'd do?

Lift Weights! Run more than a mile and cried after a 2 hour WOD! 

What are your CrossFit goals?

Learn better lifting techniques.

What is your most favorite or least favorite movement?

I love burpees and box jumps.

I strongly dislike rowing, sorry. 

What is your biggest accomplishment since starting CrossFit?

Learning and enjoying lifting weights 

What have you learned since joining CrossFit Skunk?

I learn that I’m stronger than what I thought and I can push my body to the max. Be consistent, love every pain, and love the results.
